Four-time British Blues Association award nominee Malaya Blue first entered the live circuit in 2015 following the release of her debut album, Bourbon Street. Her sophomore album, Heartsick, was released in 2016 to an expanding global listening base. Both recordings spent several weeks in the top 10 of the UK IBBA charts, and both were in the top 20 end-of-year charts. An 18-month performing hiatus beginning in late 2018 allowed time for Malaya to both focus on songwriting as well as commencing her Educational Doctorate.

Now, Malaya reaffirms her position as one of the UK contemporary blues premier vocalists and songwriters with Still. The project included collaboration with three-time Grammy winner Dennis Walker (Robert Cray, B.B. King) and Grammy winning Richard Cousins (Robert Cray) and contains twelve original compositions including the title track, "Still," that was originally co-written by Cousins for Robert Cray, recorded here for the first time. Studio musicians were hand-picked from the cream of the UK blues scene.
