The BRNB Collection Vol. 4 contains 34 compositions from an array of Blind Raccoon clients. A compilation of blues and roots music in its many forms and subgenres, it is a wonderfully varied sampling of music. Blind Raccoon & Nola Blue use proceeds from digital sales and streams for charitable giving within the music community.
Highlights of this year's collection include 11 new and currently unreleased tracks from projects forthcoming in 2022, as well as favorites from top albums of 2021 and earlier. The piece de resistance of this year's collection is the unexpected but delightful rendition of Louis Jordan's "Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby" by Dick Van Dyke, released when he was 92 on his Step Back in Time album (2017, Bixmix Records).
