Blue Heart Records is pleased to announce the signing of three-time Blues Music Award nominee Dave Keyes. The NYC native keyboardist, singer and songwriter was named "Best Unsigned Artist" by Keyboard magazine.  Throughout a career of more than 30 years, Keyes has performed with some of the most important ­ figures of blues, roots and folk music, including Odetta, David Johansen, Bo Diddley, Sleepy LaBeef and Marie Knight. For the last 10 years Keyes has worked with Popa Chubby, Alexis P. Suter and the Ministers of Sound, and the late Ronnie Spector. Keyes has also held sideman duties in support of a who's who of roots music masters including Eddy Clearwater, Big Jay McNeely, Tracy Nelson, Gladys Knight, Pam Tillis, Darlene Love, and the late greats Ruth Brown, Lou Rawls and Levon Helm.
