Established in 2014 with the release of Benny Turner's "Journey" album, Nola Blue Records is passionate about preserving the musical legacy of traditional blues artists and supporting emerging contemporary talent.

ANTHONY "BIG A" SHERROD
A lifelong resident of Clarksdale, Mississippi, Sherrod continues the proud legacy and tradition of the Delta Blues of his birthplace as a recording artist and international touring musician. Godson of Big Jack Johnson, Sherrod learned all facets of his craft at the feet of a master.
BENNY TURNER
A veteran musician of more than 60 years, Benny has played everywhere from the Chitlin’ Circuit, to Europe, Japan, Australia, and all points in between. Content to be a sideman in support of the many giants he worked with, the time came for Benny to take his rightful place in the spotlight on center stage, to the delight of blues fans worldwide.
BENNY TURNER and CASH McCALL
Blues legends Benny Turner and Cash McCall's friendship began in Chicago over 60 years ago. The pair reunited in the studio to revisit their roots and the songs they once played nightly in South and West side nightspots for their album "Going Back Home." The joyous blues summit took place at studios in Memphis, New Orleans, and Chicago.
CASH McCALL
The world lost a treasure with the passing of Cash McCall. Most musicians are lucky to achieve a measure of stardom and artistic fulfillment in one genre. Cash McCall managed the elusive feat in no less than three! His enthusiasm for the music he loved never waned even until the end.
CLARENCE SPADY
Acclaimed Pennsylvania bluesman, Clarence Spady, has been a long-time fixture of the Northeast music scene. Spady has been a regular performer at Greenwich Village’s iconic Terra Blues club where he has been captivating travelers from all over the world with his guitar virtuosity and magnetic stage presence for nearly thirty years.

ERIC JOHANSON
Guitarist, singer and Louisiana native Eric Johanson makes music with authentic roots in the dynamic tapestry of New Orleans. Putting the vivid personality of the guitar at its center, his work is inspired by the blues, Americana and straight-up rock n roll. He transforms improvisational riffs, harmonies and rhythms and his up-front vocal style into a sound that evokes the mysterious hidden wonders of the Louisiana bayou, the vibrant heat of the city and all the lively spaces in between.
FRANK BEY
From his work with the Otis Redding Soul Revue at age 17, to a record deal gone bad with James Brown, to his multiple Blues Music Award nominations, Frank Bey has had his share of career highs and lows. The depth, warmth and character of his voice flow effortlessly to embody the very essence of soul singing. His album "All My Dues Are Paid" is a Grammy nominee for Traditional Blues Album.
GREGG MARTINEZ
Gregg Martinez- AKA- MAC DADDY- is Louisiana's premier R&B/Blues/Swamp Pop artist and a member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. He has released 11 albums; 2016's Soul of the Bayou was on the 2016 Grammy Awards ballot, was voted into the Top Ten Albums in Louisiana, and reached #2 on the national Soul Music chart. The late Ed Bradley of 60 Minutes- upon seeing him perform at the 2005 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival- called him "one of America's greatest hidden treasures."
JOHN NÉMETH
Widely acclaimed internationally both as a performer and recording artist, Németh is a two-time Blues Music Award Winner and has received 18 BMA nominations, including five for B.B. King Entertainer of the Year. He is also a Living Blues magazine Blues Vocalist of the Year winner. His latest album, "Stronger Than Strong", his 10th release & first on Nola Blue,is now available!
KATHY AND THE KILOWATTS
Murray’s boisterous vocals often evoke Austin legend Lou Ann Barton and rockabilly queen Wanda Jackson along with some echoes of Marcia Ball and Angela Strehli. Like the aforementioned Lone Star roots music divas, Murray is a commanding, self-assured, and versatile vocalist.
THE LOVE LIGHT ORCHESTRA
The Love Light Orchestra, a 10-piece super group of seasoned Memphis musicians, was formed in 2016 to rekindle enthusiasm for the grand, orchestral sound of mid-20th century blues. Leave the Light On, the group’s sophomore effort and debut studio recording, contains original tunes and one choice cover and reinforces a future outlook while simultaneously honoring the context of its musical past.
MEG WILLIAMS
Often compared to Susan Tedeschi and Bonnie Raitt, Meg’s guitar playing has captured the attention of listeners. She performs frequently at venues across the country with her band, Meg Williams Band, as a solo/duo act, and as a guitarist for other artists.

RODD BLAND
From Blues Royalty, the son of Bobby "Blue" Bland and godson of B.B. King, Rodd Bland rose up from the age of 3 learning traditional blues from his father's drummers. As Rodd enters a new era of his life as a musician, he has taken the opportunity to transfer lessons he absorbed to a new generation of blues fans while carrying on the great legacy of the Blues Royalty.
TIFFANY POLLACK and CO.
Tiffany Pollack will release her debut solo album on Nola Blue Records. Bayou Liberty, a nod to
Bayou Liberty Road in her childhood neighborhood as well as themes of personal liberty throughout her life, examines both the darkness and the light of the female experience. A prolific songwriter with unmistakable flair for raw impact, this album reflects Pollack’s individual journey.
TIFFANY POLLACK and ERIC JOHANSON
These Louisiana natives met when Pollack was reunited with her biological family at 25, and discovered they are cousins and members of a musical family with a rich history. After years of the cousins’ mothers pushing for them to work together, the duo project has come to fruition for a very personal family project in celebration of the blues.
TRUDY LYNN
From her first notes as a teenager when Albert Collins called her up onstage until today, 12-time Blues Music Award nominee Trudy Lynn has been singing the blues to enamored audiences all over the world. When the glittering, glamorous Lynn steps on the stage, all eyes are drawn to the dynamic presence delivering raw, honest blues from the depths of her soul.
